As a key component in business communication, graphic design encompasses the entire process that begins with knowing the company/client’s needs, what the client’s target audience wants, and then developing, designing and producing vehicles for that message.
Here at BTI, we provide our students with a Graphic Design degree training program that has up-to-date equipment and current industry standard software and also teaches the student problem-solving based on real world projects.
Although this career program is focused on print-based design, we offer well-rounded design education courses that include classes on commercial photography, video editing, web design and 2-D animation. We begin with courses in drawing, theory, typography, design, and move to computer based courses like image manipulation, illustration, page layout and web design.
The education skills learned are used in exploring and conceptualizing the many creative ways to solve problems. The student’s solutions will ultimately become part of a smart, well-executed, and conceptually varied body of work for their portfolio. It is this portfolio that provides the confidence to conduct a targeted, deliberate, and efficient job search.
Our certified instructors have a passion for teaching graphic design and are accomplished designers with years of experience in the field.
